The stop in Pisa was beautiful, but the heat made it just impossible to walk around. So, we really just went to see the tower, did some minor walking around, sat down for a delicious iced coffee, and then on to our next stop.
First stop Pisa
On our way toward Cinque Terre, out first stop was Pisa. Early in the morning we went to the train station. Our route: Florence--Pisa--La Spezia--Manarola. This was Joe and Clara's first true experience with trains, and these trains were quite full. We were glad that each of us only had one carry-on size piece of luggage and a back pack!
